The aerator utilizes a pool pump to pull water directly from your pool and shoot the water into the cooler night air and back into your pool. When tested in a Plano, Texas community pool, we averaged over a two (2) degree pool temperature drop when the commercial pool aerator ran all night. And by adding up to three (3) large pool aerators, the pool temperature continued to drop...going from 92° to 84°...even with the high temperatures being 109°!
